Comanche pool is a 50 meter pool and includes two diving boards (1 meter and 3 meter), 4 foot shallow end and 13 foot deep end, two water slides, lap swim, lounge chairs and a wading pool.
Patton Pool includes a wading pool, diving boards, slides, shade tops, picnic tables and lounge chairs.
West Fort Hood Pool includes slides, wading pool, shade tops, picnic tables and lounge chairs.
42nd Street Pool includes a diving board (1 meter), 4 foot shallow end and 13 foot deep end, lounge chairs, shade structures with tables.

- Free for 3 years of age and under
- $3 for individual day pass
- $50 for individual season pass
- $100 Family pass for 2-3 individuals
- $150 Family pass for 4-5 individuals
- $200 Family pass for 6+ individuals
All outdoor swimming pools are authorized for use by all Active Duty, National Guard and Reservist, Retired Military, family members and Department of Defense civilians and contract workers.
Authorized patrons are required to show ID and may sign in two guests. Guests must present a photo ID and remain with their sponsor while in the facility. Guests that do not possess an ID must be vouched for by the sponsor. Sponsors are responsible for their guest’s actions. ID card holders under the age of 16 cannot sign in guests. Pool patrons ages 13 and above are required to show ID. Pool patrons ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a representative who is 16 years or older.
Children 12 years and under will be given a wrist band that must be worn at all times while in the swimming pool facility.
Children 12 years and under who wish to swim without a parent or guardian present (in the water) must pass a water competency swim test.
Water Competency Sequence
1. Step or jump into the water over your head.
2. Return to the surface and float or tread water for 1 minute.
3. Rotate 360 degrees and orient to the exit.
4. Swim 25 yards on the front or the back.
5. Exit from the water. If in a pool, be able to exit without using the ladder.
Children who pass will receive a Green wristband.
Those who do not pass the swim test will be considered a non-swimmer and will be given an orange wristband.
All non-swimmers and floatation device wearers are not permitted in the deep end of the pool or off the diving board. (Note: direct parental supervision must be within arm’s reach and in the water at all times.).
Swim diapers are required for all children who are not toilet trained.
Outdoor pools are fee based:
Pool passes may be purchased at the pools with cash or check. Pool passes must be in the possession of the individual(s) to enter facility.
Pool passes are also available for purchase with cash, check or card at the following locations:
