Beggining at 4 p.m. the memorial will be open to all. Each boot is a symbol which represents a Fallen Military Service Member.
Parking • Sadowski Parade Field

From U.S. Highway 190, exit Fort Hood Bernie Beck Main Gate to T.J. Mills Boulevard.
** If you do not have a DoD affiliate ID card you must get a pass at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center.

Access the installation and proceed ahead in the left lane through the intersection of T.J. Mills Boulevard and Tank Destroyer Boulevard.

Approximately 500 feet, access the turn lane and turn left onto Phantom Warrior Drive.

Follow Phantom Warrior Drive as it curves to the right.

Take the next left into the III Corps parking lot.

Proceed straight through the parking lot passing behind the III Corps building to 52nd Street / Support Avenue.

Turn left onto 52nd Street / Support Avenue.

As 52nd Street / Support Avenue curves right take the immediate left.

Take the second left onto the Sadowski Parade Field area.
** Visitors will need a temporary pass available at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center. Stay in the right lane and turn right to enter the visitor center parking lot. The center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The vehicle driver and all passengers are required for screening. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, proof of current insurance and license plate number.
