7 p.m. On-Post Parking Areas are Available

9:30 p.m. Live TV Broadcast
Watch the live TV broadcast and enjoy from the comfort of your home provided by KXXV 25 and KWTX 10.

Accessing Post

Active military, military dependents, DoD civilians, retired, retiree dependents and contractors with DoD ID cards may enter the installation by displaying their DoD issued ID card to the guard personal at the Access Control Points (ACPs) entering the installation. If you do not have your government ID card in your possession you must go to the Visitor's Welcome Center to get an installation access pass/badge.

Fireworks**

REFERENCE: AR 420-1 Fire and Emergency Services Garrison Command, Fort Hood Housing Regulation 420-37, Title 18 United Sates Criminal Code

DEFINITION: A device consisting of a combination of explosives and combustibles, set off to generate colored lighting effects, smoke, and noise for amusement. (This includes Sparklers)

Exception: Supervised displays authorized in writing by the Commander, III Corps and Fort Hood in total compliance with NFPA National Fire Protection Association directives.

Any person using fireworks other than in authorized displays may be held both financially and criminally liable for any loss or damage to government or private property caused by such use.

Persons found in possession of fireworks will be informed that’s it is against regulation and law to discharge fireworks on the installation. Persons found to be discharging fireworks on the installation WILL receive a CVB for Possession/Discharge of Fireworks/ Pyrotechnics; USC Title 18, Section 1382. This charge has a fine of $300 plus $30 court cost, DD FM 1408’s is not authorized for this offense.

Fireworks will not be confiscated, if we return to the location where a citation has already been issued for discharge of fireworks, we will issue a second citation and contact Company Commander or 1st Sgt.

Anyone entering post at an ACP in possession of fireworks will be denied entry onto the installation.
