Note: This event has already passed.

Don't miss this great opportunity to learn about wood working skills and a woodshop on post available for you.

Soldiers will be introduced to the Course Instructors who will teach woodshop safety and the basic knowledge on the creation and execution of  woodshop projects. First, instructors will teach safety of woodshop tools and the shop. Next, they will begin the hands-on portion of the course. The instructors will go through a step-by-step process with Soldiers to guide them on the use of measurements, and how to scale projects to all sizes. The Soldiers will then have the opportunity to build a small structure of their choice, which they can take home with them. Once completed, the Soldiers will receive a certificate of completion of the class.

Per Department of Defense guidance dated 28 July 2021 - All Service Members, Federal Employees, Onsite Contractor Employees, and Visitors regardless of vaccination status will wear a mask while inside all Fort Hood facilities.
